FIRST Impressions
PARKING, GREETING, SEATING, CROWD CONTROL, and WELCOME COUNTER.
First impressions are vital. At Salty Church, it is our goal to ensure that guests have a positive first impression and feel welcomed from the moment they arrive on our property. Here are ways you can serve:
PARKING TEAM: is responsible for keeping traffic flowing smoothly in the parking lot and directing guests to parking spaces in an orderly manner.
GREETERS: welcome people with a smile and make them feel at home as they step through the doors of Salty.
SEATERS: play a key role in orchestrating a smooth weekend experience by assisting guests to their seats.
CROWD CONTROL: provides and helps maintain a safe and distraction-free environment during our services.
WELCOME COUNTER: provides guests with information about all of our current events, ministry opportunities, and services.

Group Leader/Host
We're Better Together. We were created to experience life with other people and that’s why, at Salty, we encourage people to get into a Group. Group Leaders facilitate a group of three or more people who hang out, study the Word, pray together, and simply do life deeper. Group Hosts provide a safe welcoming environment for the Group to meet. For more information contact Jason Holt at jason@salty.org
MEAL Train
Sometimes, a simple meal can make a world of difference. Our Meal Train provides food for family members of individuals who are hospitalized or in need of temporary food assistance. If you enjoy cooking and preparing food for others outside your home this is a great opportunity for you. For more information contact office@salty.org
MEDIA
The Salty media team is dedicated to excellence to enhance the overall worship experience. We are not here to put on a show or a production but to help people encounter the love of God in new and deeper ways. Whether it's operating projection, lighting, staging or camera, our team will equip you with the proper training you need. For more information contact Corey Cobb at corey@salty.org
PRAYER Team Ministry
Philippians 4:6 says, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” During Connection Time at our weekend service we offer prayer support for anyone in need. Then, every Tuesday night at 5:30, our Prayer Team prays for people who have written down their prayer needs on a Connection Card. For more information about our Prayer Team Ministry contact Christie O’Brien at christie@salty.org
PROPERTY/FACILITIES Maintenance
God has given us these great facilities as a resource to “Rescue and Empower people for Jesus.” That is why we take great care in keeping our property and facilities looking beautiful for our guests and Salty family. We depend on our Salty family to help us. This is a great area for families to serve together. Whether it be pulling weeds or vacuuming carpets, every bit helps in keeping our property and facilities looking beautiful. For more information about contact Kristen Cobb at kristen@salty.org

STAND Student Ministry
STAND is a place where middle and high school students can build friendships and learn about God’s love. In a world where distractions are constant, we want to refocus and give middle and high schoolers an understanding of how to have an authentic relationship with God in a broken world. Adult mentors are a huge part of our investing in every student - and that’s where you come in. We want you to be a part of a movement that helps raise up students that are passionate followers of Christ. For more information contact Joe Hurtak at joe@salty.org

Our mission is to RESCUE, SERVE AND EMPOWER families to prevent child abuse and neglect. We help at risk families throughout Volusia County create safe and healthy environments for raising their children. We connect families to informal and formal services offered by private organizations and churches and provide mentoring and temporary financial support in many cases. Our Mentors keep families moving toward EMPOWERMENT, independence, and continuous progress in forming a safe home environment for their children.
